La Ratatouille reminded me of bistros in France: cosy, busy and informal. No fussy food, just simple but well executed dishes. The lovely Maître D made us feel very welcome, and the service was prompt and pleasant, atmosphere and all seems authentically French. We enjoyed a 3 course meal. It was excellent and good value for money. We left 2 hours later, full, satisfied and happy to have had the chance to catch up with friends without being rushed.
As a suggestion, i would develop try to add to the wine list more reasonably priced Bordeaux (Graves, Pessac Leognan, Pomerol...)
I would come back and recomend the place though.

As locals La Ratatouille never seems to let us down.
My husband and I always have a very good meal. Their menu provides outstanding value for money. Top snails in garlic and butter, superb Foie-gras, outstanding filet of Beef with frites and different side sauces (love the Roquefort one) and a mouth watering Vacherin glace or Chocolate Fondant t(my husband favourite)....The daily specials, and the new improved French wine list are great too.
Staffs are friendly and professional - the superb charming and good humoured French manager deserves a special mention. He has vastly improved the place by adding lots of personal touches who just add to the brilliant feel good factor of this lovely restaurant.

My husband and I just had a lovely meal at La Ratatouille this evening. Loved the design and atmosphere of the restaurant, the two waitresses were professional, efficient and sweet, and of course the dishes (French onion soup, snail and roast chicken breast) were all delicious! We’ve been living in the area for two years, only found out this subtly beautiful restaurant now, but we’ll certainly be going back to try out all other dishes! Thank you!

My partner & I had a lovely dinner here on a Friday night. Staff were friendly, food was excellent and good value! We will definitely be coming back here again soon!!!

.I went to La Ratatouille last week and was deeply impressed.
on first impressions it immediately felt like being a true parisian cafe but with tempting and full menu. we sat outside for a glass of wine first after being familiarly greeted warmly but the maitre'd. the service was un pressured but consistent. we ordered and they set up a table inside and told us when our food was ready. I had moules frites & my frind, the sea bass which she concluded afterwards was "stunning". it was truly a great experience and we stayed for hours!!we shared a creme brulee which was the best i've had in a very very long time.I would highly recommend

I had another amazing dinner at La Ratatouille restaurant on Friday. The food is simply delicious, tasty and the atmosphere was so great and buzzing. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a GREAT FRENCH meal at a really affordable price. The chef Paully Toure was one of the chef at the Boudin Blanc restaurant so that tells you the level of cuisine you are going to get there. So hurry up everyone and go there to try it out for yourseilf. I know I will and very very soon.
PS: I am French so it was really like being back at home :-)

I was not expecting much from this restaurant given its low prices, but was very pleasantly surprised to be served some extremely high-quality food. I had the sea bass as my main, which was fresh and delicate - the attention to detail really showed in the wonderful combination of flavours. Highly recommended for inexpensive gourmet food!

I went there with my mother and sister last week. All being French-food lovers, we were excited about trying out a new French restaurant. And certainly, La Ratatouille exceeded all expectations. Delicious food, friendly service and affordable prices. Another highlight was the terrace, which really was like a little bit of Paris. I can't wait to go again!

As it was a Tuesday night, there weren't many people but the atmosphere nonetheless was cosy and relaxed.
I'd definitely recommend La Ratatouille and if you're a fan of French food, you'd love it too.
I wish Jennifer and Paully every success with their little gem!

Last Tuesday evening (20th April) I ate for the first time at this restaurant. The welcome was great, service good and the food was exactly as I would expect a really good French meal to be - excellent - and in just the right amounts. I did not eat a sweet so cannot comment - only had starter (foie gras de canard) and main course (lamb shank). However, my disappintment was as large as my enjoyment when I drank the "espresso" coffee! It tasted just like an ordinary filter coffee (even weaker if possible) - not at all what I expected when I drink a real French "deca". That needs improving on! All the rest very good.
